In 1981, I founded with other independent photographers a collective call: Collectif Presse, a "social" alternative to large agencies based at that time in Paris. After decades of conservative power, the socialist François Mitterrand arrives at the Elysee Palace with women and men little-known by the public and the icing on the cake, four communist ministers. All political files of the agencies have to be rebuilt. Collectif immerses himself in the political and social issues. It is full of energy before becoming a breeding ground for large agencies.
Xavier Lambours had shot us a portrait for a calendar that was distributed to our clients.
But who is who ?
