Since the end of military secrecy in 2009 on aerial photographs snuff during the Second World War by the Royal Air Force (RAF), the Aerial Reconnaissance Archives (TARA) are now visible to all. I met Mr Jimmy Taylor, 87, a former RAF pilot. Aboard his Spitfire specially equipped for shooting, he participated from 1944 to numerous reconnaissance missions over Europe.
