I would present two 30x40 prints made by Nathalie Lopparelli of photos made in June 1985 in Beirut during the hijacking of TWA Flight 847 by Lebanese Shiites. Dozens of American passengers were held hostage for what remains one of the longest hijack in the history of aviation. On June 21st, the Shiite Amal militia organized an anti-American demonstration on Beirut airport and invited the hijackers to participate.
